my shou shu history
I JUST WANTED TO INTRODUCE MYSELF TO EVERYONE ON THE SITE, MY NAME IS SHIFU WELLS I AM FROM SACRAMENTO BUT STARTED MY TRAINING IN STOCKTON UNDER SHIFU DELAGE IN 1990. I BECAME A SHIFU IN OCTOBER OF 1998. I WORKED ON TIGER FOR 5 YEARS AND TESTED IN JANUARY OF 2004, MY CURRENT RANK IS TIGER. I GUESS I MIGHT BE CONSIDERED AN "OLD TIMER", BUT I DON'T HAVE A BUNCH OF SHOU SHU WAR STORIES TO TELL, IV'E ONLY HAD TO USE MY SHOU SHU ONCE. THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING ALL THE SHIFU'S AND STUDENTS.....

Yep your an old timer
1990 yeah I'd consider you part of the old timers club. But the Miner street studio seems just like yesterday. Oh the days of stepping over bums to get into the studio and the nights of politely asking the working girls to conduct their business across the street instead of right in front of the studio. Yep them were the days.
There was at least a new fight story every week in that school. We all had our day of glory and we'd get to tell the story to every person who walked into the studio that day.
Those were the days. A lot of fun. Still don't know how we all made it through.

i definently remember shun shifu weaver from those days but sorry shifu liz i don't remember you. although i do remember you from the burson school. i look forward to catching up with both of you, i'm happy to hear your schools are doing very well! see ya soon....... salute!
