Hello and Happy Chinese New Year.  Last weekend marked the beginning of the year of the Pig and it looks to be a great one at that.

 

A Sheng Chi tradition is to go to San Francisco, stroll around China town and watch the Parade.  This year’s celebration is Saturday march 3^rd.  If you’ve never attended I encourage you to grab your family and go.  There’s great food, fantastic shops, entertainment and of course the parade.   For more info log on to: www.chineseparade.com.  It is a long day with LOTS of walking so log on to www.hotels.com and you can still get some great rates on hotels in china town.

 

This year watch the parade carefully as Sheng Chi will most likely enter the Parade next year. Due to the length of the parade manpower, and lots of it, will be needed.
