Warm Up
Review each of the following by the numbers and then do chi kung speed
1. Peking Heel
2. Lunging Bear
3. Spinning Scorpion
4. Deflecting the Iron Links
5. Crushing Gland
6. Saber tooth claws
7. Iron Thumbs
Section One- Third student form
1. From a square horse teach an outward ridge block
2. From square horse teach an outward ridge to side cross stepping in front
3. Pair up
4. From end of peking heel position teach ridge hand block to side swinging leg across for power
5. Pair up
6. From crane stance have students extend four finger eye spear. Have partners push on students hands pushing them to a cross step position
7. Have partners move focus mitt toward student with student in crane stance. Students fire four finger eye spear into focus mitt and drive themselves off into cross step.
8. Put outward block eye spear technique together
9. Pair up
10. Teach students how to cross step in front extending leg into over center position
11. Have students step around extended leg maintaining over center position
12. Have students pair up and cross step in front with right leg, extending right leg. Extend right hand and place on bag. Student steps around right leg and replaces right hand with left hand, punching bag with left hand
13. Teach same motion substituting kick for punch.
14. Do on bags
15. Substitute lunging bear for kick
16. Do on bags
17. Teach Third student form up to Lunging bear
18. Group student is fours and have them do first part of form with partners.
