About Shifu Guerrero Jr.

My name is Shifu Ted Guerrero Jr., I am the son of Shifu Ted Guerrero Sr. (of course). I started off in the Lodi studio about 23 years ago in Kid's Group with my younger brother (who is a High Brown Belt). My father and mother were involved and decided that it would be great for the whole family to be doing Shou Shu.
I have to admit I hated Kid's Group. LOL!!! My father had to drag me kicking and screaming to group every Tuesday and Thursday. It wasn't until I graduated to the adult group that I began enjoying Shou Shu more.
My father opened his first studio in Alamosa, CO. and my whole family helped teach there. After moving the studio to Colorado Springs, it became mostly just me helping my father run the school.
When we moved back to California I resumed my training first at the Valley Springs studio, then later moved back to the Lodi school to finish my black belt.
After earning my black belt (tested in front of Da Shifu Sr. and Da Shifu Clark, very proud of that fact and got pictures to boot!!) I continued training in Lodi, however I began attending weekly classes at the Modesto school ran by Da Shifu Clark.
Later my father once again decided to open a school, this time in Kingman, AZ. I decided to help him again, and I did, until I opened a school in La Quinta, CA.
After leaving La Quinta I traveled around a bit, but eventually after getting married, migrated back to Arizona to help out my father's students.

Currently I reside in Elk Grove, CA., anybody who lives out this way or visits out this way, feel free to hit me up for some training.

Hey if I could find some good work out that way...I'd have no problem relocating to Arkansas and opening a school part time. Heck full time if I...

Hmmm...I'd sure be a lot more relaxed at camp if that was the case. Not sure if drunk demos would be the best idea though.
