International Shou Shu Association

I began my Shou Shu training in 1980 under (then) Shun Shifu Clark who was a Mongoose at that time, and continued my training under Shun Shifus Young, Siegfried, Perez and Ferrero. My first instructor was Mr. (now DaShifu) Siegfried who was a green belt at that time. He was my instructor from white to brown. I was fortunate to have received most of my Tiger training and basically all of my Mongoose training from Da Shifu Al Moore Sr. I also had the pleasure of again training under then Shi Han Clark, taking weekly classes in Modesto. I received my black belt in 1988, Tiger in 1996, and Mongoose in 1999. Osteo Arthritis temporarily stopped my training when I was advancing toward White Crane and I was on hiatus for several years. In January 2010 I underwent total hip replacement surgery and recently resumed training.
