I started my shou shu training in 1990, i became a shifu in 1998, i became a 2nd degree in 2004. I was born in sacramento in 1964, attended highlands high and enlisted in the united states marine corps and served for 3 years from 1983-'86. I was with the 3rd battalion 9th marines 1st marine division, i did my overseas duty and training in okinawa and the phillipines. Iv'e done mountain warfare training in both winter and summer enviorments. I was an infantryman and grienadier. Had it not been for my marine corps training i probably would not have been as successful at shou shu, so i consider being a marine and being a 2nd degree black belt in shou shu the 2 most important accomplishments of my life. I am very proud of those two things. My short term future plans are to go overseas to do contract security work and use the skills iv'e learned in both.
